Sigma Phi Epsilon wins Spirit Sign Contest

Winners of the Homecoming sign contest were Sigma Phi Epsilon, followed by Phi Mu and Zeta Phi Beta

Located in Trible Plaza, the 2018 Homecoming spirit signs made by various organizations were displayed for almost all of Homecoming week. Near the end of the week, CAB announced the winners, which added to their point totals for the entire contest.

“The idea behind the sign was inspired with the help of close friends of the chapter, Marissa Raiti and Samantha Hernandez. We wanted to capture the essence of CNU and SigEp and we believed George was somebody that did just that and we felt it only appropriate to represent him with one of his favorite songs – Free Bird by Lynyrd Skynyrd. This is where the idea of the bird in the sunset came from. The boat is to represent us Captains and to show the rocky seas that we sail but here at CNU we sail them together.” – CNU Sigma Phi Epsilon
